Horizon is from 1975 and is my favorite album by The Carpenters. Karen Carpenter sounds amazing, and all of the songs on the album are a must hear. Songs here are "Aurora", "Only Yesterday", "Desperado", "Please Mr. Postman", "I Can Dream, Can't I?", "Solitaire", "Happy", "(I'm Caught Between) Goodbye and I Love You", "Love Me for What I Am", and "Eventide".

Soul Train

Soul Train was a famous music show that ran from 1971 to 2006. Hosted mostly by Don Cornelius, the show had many R&B, funk, hip hop, and soul groups on. Some music artists that appeared on the show are Aretha Franklin, Full Force, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, and many others.

Dancing Queen by ABBA

ABBA's song "Dancing Queen" from 1976 became one of the most popular songs for ABBA and one of the most known songs of the 70s. Today, the song is still well known and very popular.

Disco music

Disco music was at its peak in the late 1970s. The music was played in disco clubs which were popular in New York City, with Studio 54 being one of the most famous. Some music artists that had disco songs were Alicia Bridges, Jackson 5, Tavares, Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, The Trammps, Gloria Gaynor, Village People, and Chic.

Voyager Golden Records

The Voyager Golden Records are phonograph records that are aboard both Voyager spacecraft, which were launched in 1977. The records contain selected sounds and images of life and culture on Earth. Some of their contents are greetings in many different languages and many different genres of music.

This collection has many songs from the 70s to the 90s by Whitesnake. The songs are blues rock, hard rock, and heavy metal. Some of my favorites are the 80s songs "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love". Other songs I like are "Don't Break My Heart Again", "Walking in the Shadow of the Blues", "Slide It In", "Fool for Your Loving", "Judgement Day", "Now You're Gone", "Give Me All Your Love", "Still of the Night", and "Pride and Joy".

This 1972 album by Santana is my favorite album by them. The songs are jazz fusion and Latin rock. "Eternal Caravan of Reincarnation Santana", "Waves Within Santana", "Look Up (To See What's Coming Down)", "Just in Time to See the Sun", "Song of the Wind Santana", "All the Love of the Universe", "Future Primitive", "Stone Flower", "La Fuente del Ritmo", and "Every Step of the Way". A must hear album for Santana fans. I also like their Abraxas album.

Abraxas

Abraxas is from 1970 and is Santana's second album. The songs are Latin rock, blues rock, and jazz fusion. My favorites are "Singing Winds, Crying Beasts", "Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen", "Incident at Neshabur", "Hope You're Feeling Better", and "El Nicoya". The 1998 edition also has live versions of "Se a Cabo", "Toussaint L'Overture", and "Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen". I also like their Caravanserai album.
